This project was featured on the 11th Annual Tour of Remodeled Homes

The owners of this 1947 challenged Southern Evergreen with uncovering the potential that existed in the post WWII cottage they had recently purchased. Although the home had wonderful details such as original plaster walls, period moldings and hardwood floors, previous attempts at adding living space and “remodeling” covered up the original hardwoods with heavy clay tiles and attempted to convert the original back porch to living space. The previous porch addition was removed down to the foundation and rebuilt as part of the remodel process.
