Southern Evergreen is honored to help support the Northwest Guilford VFW Post 7999.
Tax-deductible donations for the monument fund can be mailed to VFW Post 7999, P.O. Box 684, Summerfield, NC 27358 or made at any Bank of Oak Ridge Branch by informing the teller that you want to donate to the post. Unfortunately, Fox 8 got two very important things wrong in this piece. We're not the Summerfield VFW; we're the NW Guilford VFW. And Summerfield did not force the post to give up the original memorial site. Guilford County Schools wanted the site to test for a well.
