  • Tour of Remodeled Homes: Southern Evergreen has been featured in the Greensboro Builder Association’s “Tour of Remodeled Homes” each year since 2007. Work includes kitchen and bath renovations, whole home renovations, additions and historic preservation.

  • Preservation Greensboro Outstanding Projects: Southern Evergreen’s work on the 1917 HH Felder House was recognized as an outstanding project by Preservation Greensboro Incorporated (PGI). This preservation project was certified Green by the National Home Builder Association’s (NAHB) National Green Building Guidelines. This is one of the first historic homes in the nation to receive this coveted designation.

  • Top Architecture Firm: The Business Journal ranked Southern Evergreen Architecture as a Top 25 firm since 2010.

  • Licensed General Contractor Southern Evergreen is licensed by the state of North Carolina both unlimited residential and commercial general contractor licenses, number 61720 (qualified by Tom Garcia). We maintain this standard of service with yearly continuing education and financial reviews.

  • Professional Green, Lead and Sustainability Associations

  • NAHB Certified Green Professional (CGP) by NAHB Since 2007, all projects have incorporated green practices. The principals at Southern Evergreen are all CGP. We maintain this standard of service with yearly continuing education.

  • Certified Aging in Place Specialist - CAPS The NAHB Remodelers of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in collaboration with the NAHB Research Center and NAHB 50+Housing Council
